Dear Tom,
I have two beagles. A bitch, Mila, who's four years old. We have had her since she was a puppy and she listens very well.
We have also had Rex since January, a male who's 18 months old. We rescued him from the animal shelter and his past wasn't a lot of fun.
He's just been sitting in his crate with his first owner, and had been taken to the shelter. He was probably also too much for his second owner and they said that he tried to bite a child.
Rex was lively when we first got him, this has luckily decreased a little because he copies Mila's behaviour at times. He used to bark a lot, therefore I've given him Bach flowers mix 101 for excessively barking dogs and this is working really well. He can bark from time to time, but that's what dogs do.
Friendly regards
Elise

Monty is 2-and-a half-years old and although trained began barking in response to our neighbour's dog who barks and howls for long periods of time.
Two and a half weeks ago we ordered Bach flower drops for our dog.
Odar suffered from seperation anxiety because of the break up of the pack (divorce).
She's way calmer and more sociable since she started taking Bach flowers mix 101. What a relief.
