How should I take the Bach Flower remedies?

How should I take the Bach Flower remedies?

The Bach flowers are in a bottle of 50 ml. This consists mainly of water. There is a handy eyedropper included as well; this makes it easy to count the amount of drops.

The standard dosage is 6 times 4 drops per day. There are different ways in taking the drops:

• Directly on the tongue

• Added to a liquid for example water, fruit juice, soft drink, coffee, tea, milk,…

• You can put the drops on solid food as well for example on your sandwich

A handy tip for people who drink a whole bottle of water (or other liquid) per day, is to add the total daily dosage of drops (6 x 4 = 24 drops) at once into the bottle. You drink from this bottle all through the day and finish it. This way you have consumed the daily dosage of Bach Flower remedies without other around you noticing it.

Even for children who go to school and especially for children who eat their lunch at school it is a handy way. This way you are sure they are taking their Bach flowers and the teacher doesn’t have to be burdened or needs to know how many drops they need to give. This way it is not noticed, the child doesn’t feel looked at or won’t get bullied. On the other hand you will see some children who are quite proud and like to show it to the other children at school. This often happens when they have had good experiences for example successful use during exams.

When babies get breast fed, the mother can take the Bach Flower remedies herself or put it around her nipple. For babies who get bottle-fed put the Bach Flower remedies in the milk.

Bach Flower remedies can be applied externally as well. There are four areas where Bach Flower remedies are suited to be applied, these are the wrists, lips, temples or behind the ears. This is of interest when for example a person fainted or is in a coma or for children who sleep a lot.

When treating animals you can put the Bach flowers in their drinking bowl or put it on their favourite treat.
